Oh! I totally forgot to announce something fairly important. I’m a talking head in the documentary Chasing Ghosts: Beyond the Arcade, which premiered at Sundance on Monday. (If you’re at Sundance while reading this, you’re stupid — but check here for remaining showtimes.) The film — which I wholeheartedly support, despite not having seen it yet to determine whether I come across as a douchebag — tracks down competitors from the 1982 North American Video Game Olympics (featuring a lot of these guys). Its annoyingly young writers, Lincoln Ruchti (who also directs) and Mike Verrechia, interviewed me in front of my John Ritter prints at my apartment last year, and apparently I’m used in the film as a guy who cracks wise and looks incredibly handsome.
